General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Hotel am Hopfensee GmbH
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for accommodation as well as to all other services and deliveries provided in this context by Hotel am Hopfensee GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “Hotel”).
Any differing terms and conditions of the guest shall not apply unless the hotel has expressly agreed to their validity in writing.
2. Conclusion of the contract
The accommodation contract is concluded upon acceptance of the booking by the hotel.
Acceptance can be made in writing, verbally, by telephone, by email or via electronic booking systems.
For bookings made through third-party providers, their respective terms and conditions also apply.
The minimum age for booking and stay is 18 years.
3. Services, prices and payment
The agreed prices include statutory value added tax.
The hotel accepts the following payment methods:
- Cash payment
- Debit card
- Credit card
- Transfer
Payment can be made before arrival, upon arrival, or upon departure.
Credit card pre-authorization is not required.
4. Arrival and Departure
- Check-in: from 3:00 PM
- Check-out: until 11:00 AM
A late check-out until 1 p.m. is possible subject to availability for a fee of €55.00. This is not guaranteed.
5. Cancellation by the guest
The guest may withdraw from the accommodation contract at any time.
The hotel is entitled to charge the following cancellation fees:
- up to 7 days before arrival: free of charge
- 7 to 1 day before arrival: 80% of the agreed room rate
- on the day of arrival: 100% of the agreed room rate
- No-show: 100% of the agreed room rate
The date the cancellation notice is received by the hotel is decisive.
The guest reserves the right to prove that the hotel incurred no damage or significantly less damage.
6. Pets
Dogs are only permitted with the hotel’s prior consent.
- Fee: €30.00 per dog per day
- maximum 2 dogs per room
- Food is not included
In the event of exceptional soiling or damage, the hotel reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning or repair fee.
7. Wellness & Spa Area
Use of the wellness and spa area is at your own risk.
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Separate appointments apply for massages and treatments
- Cancellation fees may apply in the event of late cancellation or non-attendance
8. Liability of the Hotel
The hotel is liable for items brought in by the guest in accordance with statutory provisions (§§ 701 et seq. BGB).
A room safe is available.
The hotel accepts no liability for vehicles parked on the hotel premises or in the garage, unless there is intent or gross negligence.
9. Smoking Ban
Smoking is prohibited in all hotel rooms.
Smoking is permitted on balconies.
In the event of a violation of the smoking ban in the room, the hotel is entitled to charge a reasonable special cleaning fee.
10. Vouchers
Hotel vouchers:
- are valid for 3 years from the date of issue
- cannot be redeemed for cash
- do not accrue interest
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the hotel’s applicable privacy policy.
12. Final Provisions
Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
German law applies.
Place of jurisdiction is Kempten (Allgäu).
